Hello everybody!

With this tool you can interleave up to 8 lines of different Chinese character romanisations into a large slab of text at the click of a button. Of course it is also possible to convert to only those romanisations which are applicable to you.

Pinyin

Goes without saying that the language of over 800 million native speakers is supported. You can convert each character to the pinyin for the most common Mandarin pronunciation only and/or all known pronunciations. Works well if you choose both options simulataneously.

Jyutping

Convert to Jyutping (粵拼), otherwise known as LSHK Cantonese Romanization Scheme, which was developed by the Linguistic Society of Hong Kong in 1993. Due to its origins, Jyutping has 6 tones rather than the 9 tones of more conservative forms of Cantonese.

Tang

For the avid scholar or the curious minded, version 2 supports Tang Dynasty pronunciations, a spoken form of Middle Chinese, the common ancestor or all modern Chinese. Closer to the the Southern Chinese varieties today, Tang Chinese had a complex system of tones and consonents, and is made up almost entirely of monosyllabic words.

Hanja

At one time the written form in Korea until the commissioning of Hangul by King Sejong the Great, Hanja while less influential now, is still taught in high schools and remains in widespread use today, particularly in acadamic or more formal situations where it is often used in mixed script together with Hangul.

Kanji

Romanise Japanese Kanji to both Kunyumi and Onyumi

Hán tự

Although now almost entirely obselete, Hán tự was once used in the written language of Vietnam, and is still seen in calligraphy for special occasions such as Tết.
